| 9 | It was time to see some dogs up close and in person. |
| We contacted a breeder in the area and asked if we could see her dogs. She brought Romy's Dad, Henry, to meet our entire family. | |
| We studied Henry closely and asked lots of questions. What struck us most was how gentle Henry was with our son, Dusty. | |
| 10 | Family discussion time. |
| 11 | We joined an e-mail list serve called the Pyr-net. Here we met a number of very knowledgable Pyr owners who helped us better understand the breed. |
| 12 | A decision was made to try to get a puppy of Henry's. We contacted Debbie again to learn the details of her upcoming litters. This was October. |
| 13 | Debbie told us her next litter would be available around August of the following year. |
| No problem. We decided to proceed and wait for the little fuzzy bundle of joy. | |
| Debbie kept us posted as the whelping date approached. She gave us photos of the litter and updates | |
| 14 | On August 9th, we picked up the little fellow and brought him home. The rest you might say, is history. |
